Domino Harvey Biography

Such status he was provided with films "Hunger", "Top Gun", and "Real love". Stunning in the cold faultlessness "Espionage games" and "Anger" put a question point-blank "Which of brothers will be more important for history?" The picture "Domino" reminds the Chinese fireworks that have been blown up in a close rest room. So it assumes the final decision of a question will be postponed because a reaction of spectators was too ambiguous.

To retell the plot is almost impossible. It seems like Tony Scott just put pellicle into blender and edit it only after such procedure.

If we add that the script was written by Richard Kelly (he composed and made a film "Donny Darko") so the intricacy of the story will become clearer. The biography of Domino and the history with mafia, FBI, with fat black women who robbed the van with casino money, with stupid guys wanted to made a reality-show about bounty hunters and with other nonsense where the main heroine and her partners got into wind forward and backward, gives from different points of view and is strung on an interrogation. A FBI agent interrogates (Lucie Liu) and Domino responds. Domino was so inopportunely performed by Keira Knightley.

The girl was chosen by Scott probably to underline inside fragility of the main heroine. But there appeared to be an excess with this fragility because Knightley was like raged sheep. Though her performance is supported by experienced men Mickey Rourke, Christopher Walken, Mena Suvari, Liu. The roles of gangster were acted by real gangsters.
Scott passed this magnificence through a hearth of his soul and gave the chechotka that lusters should shake on MTV.

A huge number of mounting splices, inconceivable colors, incredible camera angles. And if to add the history of a man was shot his hand because of a bad mobile connection, crafty poisoning with mescaline was mixed with coffee, mad talib-powderman and Tom Waits' appearance as a wandering preacher so the level of Scott's creative going mad will be clearer.

Domino most likely will be recognized as the failure that is worth many successes. Incredible picture vitality and ingenuity that crushed not only plot but history, heroes if don't admire so will stun any susceptible person.

But a feel stayed that it is a kind of a draw, trick, just hooliganism. Probably Scott and Domino had a real fun while making this project. It's funny to pile up much corpses and absurd while shooting about a friend who lives on the edge of law and death. But this July when Domino died this fun stopped. If Tony had made this movie nowadays it would have probably completely different. But what exactly we can only think about it while observing thin and gloomy Domino Harvey bounty hunter.
